Fictions.

This collection was initially meant to be my final project for the MA at London College of Fashion. However, it grew into a larger endeavor to create fictional, theatrical worlds that weave together dreams, challenging realities, and disappointments. I’m captivated by the blurred line between what’s real and what’s fictional. Each scene in this series stands on its own, crafted through unique methods, making the collection a set of independent pieces. I explore the boundary between reality and fiction. Some scenes are overtly artificial, deliberately staged to mirror common experiences. Others appear genuine, like documentary snapshots, diving into themes connected to the digital world. This digital space offers people new ways to connect, giving us a fresh lens on reality by reimagining it as a kind of fiction.
Slavoj Zizek (2002) -Welcome to the desert of the real- “In short, we should discern which part of reality is 'transfunctionalized' through fantasy, so that, although it is part of reality, it is perceived in a fictional mode. Mucho mas dificil que denunciar/desenmascarar (lo que parece) la realidad como una ficcion, es reconocer la parte de ficcion en la realidad <real>”
