We seem to have entered an era of simulacra, in which reality is produced and enacted upon command. The fictions we construct begin to replace the world we once knew. What becomes of the reality left behind? and is return still possible?



[2022-2023]
Examines the brick as a fragment of perception and identity in the Colombian urban landscape. In many neighborhoods, the shift from improvised materials to brick marks a passage toward permanence, belonging, and social ascent. By isolating the unit, the project reflects how space, and the sense of having a place in the world, is built piece by piece.
To-Be-long-ing
Between departure and return, belonging becomes a subtle negotiation of memory and presence.
It is held in the spaces rebuilt each time, in the accents we keep, and in the ones we lose.
